Birthday!

My sister inspired me to make a birthday list!!

So here are the things I want for my Birthday..............

I love Krave! I got two gift certificates for Christmas and I've already used them!

I want an IPHONE so bad!! I've wanted one for the longest time, maybe for my birthday?!

VEGAS!!

This past week it was one of my best friends Sarah's birthday! To celebrate it a bunch of us went to Vegas to hang out and to have some fun. Me and Mike headed down after we got off work and stayed at Sarah's house with seven of our friend

s. In the morning we headed out for Lunch at a place called "A Taste of Chicago". We met up with her Dad and had some great food! After we headed to the mall where I got some shopping on. Victorias Secret was having their annual sale so I got a new sweatshirt (it's SUPER pink!) I alsogot some MAC makeup. The last thing I bought was my first pair of TOMS! They are super comfy and I would for sure recommend them to anyone!

et ready for dinner! We ended up going to a place called Firefly. It was interesting to saw the least. It isn't too expensive but the portion sizes are tiny! I guess that is the point of the restaurant, b

ut I thought it was weird! For example, I got a chicken salad and in

my mind I thought it was a salad with chicken in it... nope, it was actually chicken salad with four pieces of lettuce to eat it with. It was just weird to eat for a dinner.

After we dinner we ended up getting free tickets to a show called "Divas". It's actually the longest running show on the strip and it was super funny! Its a drag show where they impersonate famous singers and lip sing some of their songs. It was way funny and I enjoyed the entire thing!

I didn't get a picture but Sarah and Bryant got a picture with the guy who dresses up as Tina Turner and Beyonce.

I know it looks weird, but I loved it!

The next day we woke up and drove home. I love Vegas and want to go their again sometime soon! Me and Mike did do a little bit of gambling on the slots, but lost all 5 of our dollars!

Addicted to Netflix!

Netflix may be the best invention! I started watching netflix in August and since then I have watched a lot of different shows.

Vampire Diaries was for sure my favorite show of them all! I have never been a huge fan of Vampire shows or books, although I loved twilight that was about the only one I liked. Vampire Diaries is GREAT! I love it, and unlike True Blood, it isn't very graphic.

That 70's show is so funny! I used to watch it all the time, and when I found out it was on Netflix it turned into one of my favorite shows.

I am currently watching this show and it's one of my favorites now. I can't believe how much drama they can put into one show. I highly recommend it and can't wait to see what the last 4 seasons are like.

This show is hilarious! Everything about it was super funny.

Didn't have many seasons but I really liked the five that they did. Mike loves this show and he is actually the one that started my liking for it.

I love Netflix, and I highly recommend it to anyone!

About to be a Grown-Up!!

I can’t believe I haven’t blogged since July!

One of my New Year resolutions is to blog more, so this is my first attempt.

So much has been going on. I just finished my last fall semester at SUU and I’m starting my final semester before I graduate! I am beyond excited to finally be done with school and become a “grown up”. I have a couple of ideas on what I want to do but I haven’t officially decided on what I want to do.

I looked into working at a Juvenile Detention facility up in Salt Lake, which looks like it would be a lot of fun. I’ve also thought about working in a girl’s home, I know if a couple in Utah County that look like they would be a lot of fun to work in.

Haven’t made any plans for sure, but I wanted to update everyone and get some ideas on what you think!!

July Jamboree

Today I got to hang out with Mikes little brothers Nick and Tyler. They are amazing kids that LOVE cars. We went to the July Jamboree to check out some of the ones they have there. It was so much fun and a great way to spend my afternoon!!

I wish I could get this whole blogging thing down. I NEVER remember to blog and it always looks so pathetic when I go to blog and realized I haven't written in forever! Not a lot has been going with my life lately. I just finished summer school and have finally been enjoying my summer break. Me Mike and his brother Matt went to Sandhallow last weekend for 3 days and soaked up the sun... and A LOT of bug bites. It was fun but I am definitely feeling the aftermath! Today Mike and I also went to the Cedar Lake and got a little more sun burnt (all worth it!) Hopefully now that summer has started I can start blogging about cool stuff. I'll try and keep everyone posted!

Day 18 - Plans/dreams/goals you have.

• Visit Egypt
• Graduate College
• Get Married in the Temple
• Have 4 kids
• Serve an LDS Mission with my husband
• Go on an African Safari
• See Mount Rushmore (it only takes eleven hours from Lehi!)

Emma Watson

I chose her for obvious reasons. I love Harry Potter! She played one of my favorite characters of all time, at times she was a little annoying, but she helped make the movies what they are today. Not only that, she is gorgeous! I am very envious of her and all she has accomplished.

Kate Middleton

I very much enjoyed watching the Royal Wedding and seeing her on her wedding day. I LOVED her dress, it is stunning and a dress I would love to have (of course a little more modest!) She is one of the luckiest girls in the world right now! I know everyone loved Princess Diana but I think Kate looked so much happier and in love on her wedding day. I would love to switch places with her and see what her life is like.

Anne Hathaway

I have loved her since Princess Diaries! She is so beautiful and also very funny. Every movie I have seen her in I have loved and I think she is an amazing actress.

Day 16 - Another picture of yourself

I know this is kind of a weird picture but there is a lot that goes behind it! This picture was taken at Three Peaks in Cedar City. I went there with Mike and his family one saturday and we rode his quads and buggy all day long! It was so much fun and I got to know his family a lot better. His family is AMAZING! They have really been my second family here in Cedar. Every sunday night we have family dinner together and his parents and 15 year old sister have a business where they make jewelry and those flowers you put in your hair. They make a lot of money from it and I have recently started helping them. It's fun to make something and then hear later that week that they already sold it! I love spending time with them, we always have so much fun!!

Growing up my family was a little bit dysfunctional. Now I am happy to say we all get a long with each other and have some good memories. My Mom and Dad have been been married for... 30 years (I think). This picture was taken at my brothers wedding in October. Him and Nicole are perfect for each other and Nicole is so sweet and nice, I don't know how he landed someone like her! Natalie and Davy have been married for almost 6 years (I think) and have a son named Camden. He is the cutest baby in the world, I hate living in Cedar because I don't get to see him grow up!! Natalie has been my best friend since I was little and I love visiting Lehi just to hang out with her. Me and Davy have a love-hate relationship, but in the end I know he loves me :D

Day 12 - How you found out about blogging.

She blogged for a while before I started getting into it. I used to blog a lot more. I guess fun things used to happen in my life, now it's pretty much just work and school. Thanks Natalie for introducing me into the blogging world!! Love you!

Day 11 - Another picture of you and your friends.

This is a picture of Sarah, Bryant, Jessica, Cole, Me and Mike at Sigma Chi formal. I have been friends with them for so long and when me and Mike started dating they all loved him. Before formal Mike, Cole and Bryant went snowboarding, which explains the red face!

Day 9 - Something you're proud of in the last few days

Because next week is finals week I have had a lot to do this week and weekend to prepare. Luckily I got it all done by Wednesday! Now all I have to do is wait for my one final next thursday. Usually I am such a procrastinator, but this week I am proud to say I got everything done early!

Another thing I am proud of is that I am already all packed. I am moving to another room in my house but still needed to pack some stuff to make it an easier move. I'm not moving till Wednesday but hopefully I can move it all in 30 min. or less!

Day 8: Short term goals for the month and why.

• Make it to next thursday! - I only have one class period and one final left till summer, but I still can barely get myself to go to class or do ANYTHING!
• Clean up the Alpha Phi roster! - Being President I get the responsibility of making sure members who don't come to stuff or have moved away are off the international roster so we not longer have to pay for them. It sounds easier than it is, I HATE it!
• Go Camping. - I love being outdoors and luckily so does Mikes family. A couple weeks ago me, him, and 3 of his younger siblings went camping. It was so much fun and I can't wait to do it again.
• Move in a new room :D - I get to move to a private room in my house and get my old bed back, I can't wait!

Day 7 - A picture of something that has had the biggest impact on you.

Alpha Phi has truly made me the person I am today. It has blessed me with so many memories, friends and experiences that have shaped into the woman I am now.

I don't know where I would be without this wonderful organization. It has not only given me life long friends, but I have traveled to Indiana and California to learn more about Alpha Phi and also how to be a better leader. I have loved the time spent in this organization and can't wait to become a life long member when I graduate!

Day 6 - Favorite Superhero and Why

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!!

Growing up this was one of my favorite shows! I still remember pretending we were the power rangers and I was always the Pink one. I miss the Original Power Rangers, now they have all the weird ones that no one really watches.

Lately....

Last weekend was Sigma Chi formal. It was bittersweet for me because although I had fun, I had to give up being Sweetheart. I have loved being a part of Sigma Chi this past year, and the time to give it up came much too fast! I had to give a farewell speech which broke my heart, and then watch them sing the Sweetheart Song to their new Sweetheart. It's weird to think that just a year ago that was me! I will never forget any of them, and some of the men in this picture will forever be my best friends!

The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi is a very coveted position and the Sweetheart is meant to represent the person all the Men in the Fraternity strive to marry. The song that they sing goes like this:

On a brighter note, I got to spend the night with some of my sisters! Adriana, Jaclyn, Rachel, Andrew (BB!) Sarah, Jess, Kelly and Lisa. Love them and was so happy they were there with me!

It was Alpha Phi formal on April 9th! It was so much fun to see everyone dressed up, I absolutely loved it! We all had fun and I won the AOE award! The description of this award is: “Sister who most exemplifies what Alpha Phi is. She is a positive role model and is always a positive image on campus and in the community."

The best part was that the girls voted me for it! :D Love my A-Phis!!

Me and Mike went to the Carnival! I love love LOVE the carnival so I was so happy it came to Cedar. We rode the Ferris Wheel twice and went in the fun house mirror place (so funny)! Mike is the BEST. We spend as much time as we can together and every sunday we go to his house for family dinner. His family is amazing and about 2 weeks ago my mom and dad got to meet his mom. Things are going extremely well for us!

We had our annual Greek Week and it was fun of competition and excitement! Alpha Phi walked away with a whole handful of awards!

- Best Advisor: Kathleen McDowell

- Best Leader: Chelsea Chaney (UGC V.P.)

- Highest Overall GPA

- Most Service Hours

- Tied with Sigma Nu for Greek Week Champions (we really should have won, but it's a long story!)

- J. Howard Mahn Greek Letter Organization of the Year!: The most prestigious award given at Greek Week! It had five different parts. Jake Johnson our Greek Advisor said that all three judges said hands down Alpha Phi had won!

I am so proud to be a member of the Greek Community at SUU! We are getting bigger every day and I can't wait for the day when I get to look back and see us filling the stadium because we are so big!

Because I am part of the Executive Council in Alpha Phi we were able to travel to L.A. to attend an Annual Conference our sorority holds. It was so much fun and I gained so much knowledge and information on how to better my own Chapter. This is a picture of the entire Exec. with the International President Linda. She is such a sweet and accomplished woman!

I ran for Elections at SUU. I was part of the VOICE party, and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life! I didn't win, but I met so many amazing people! I had fun and it was a very humbling experience :D
